Inter County
Well done to the Tipperary senior and minor teams on their displays against Cork. Kian O’Kelly lined out at left wing-forward on the minor side. We wish both teams continued success against Waterford on Sunday.

Junior
In the opening round of the championship MacDonagh lost 1-19 to 1-12 against Éire Óg in Nenagh. The home side had the aid of the breeze in the first half. After 21 minutes MacDonaghs were in a good position with the teams tied on 0-6 each. Nenagh had a purple patch before the break, reeling off five points on the trot. Mark O’Meara responded with a pointed free to leave Éire Óg 0-11 to 0-7 ahead at the interval. The Magpies needed a good start to the second half but it was Nenagh that came racing out of the blocks with a pointed free and a goal in the opening minutes. Éire Óg managed to maintain a cushion of at least six points for the remainder of the game and were deserving winners.
