Auction & Social Night
The senior, juvenile and camogie clubs are organising a Monster Auction & Social Night in the Abbey Court Hotel on Saturday, 4th March at 8.00pm. Already we have had a fantastic response from parishioners and from the business community in North Tipperary and further afield. Members are carrying out a forensic canvass, seeking donations of timber (car trailers), turf, fodder and vouchers from shops, companies, tradesmen and service providers of all descriptions. Anybody who donates an item for auction will be entered into a draw for a very attractive prize. This is going to be an Auction with a difference as items that go under the hammer will not be there in the hotel for inspection but will be listed in a catalogue with some being displayed on a big screen.
A General Meeting of all senior, juvenile and camogie members will be held in the clubroom on Thursday, 16th February at 8.00pm to advance plans for the Auction. We had great attendances at our first two meetings. Anybody who couldn’t make our first two gatherings is asked to make a huge effort to be present this time.
The following membership fees will apply for 2017: adult players €50; non playing adults €30; juveniles and minors €30. Membership cards are now available. The deadline for renewal of membership is 31st March. Membership is compulsory for all players, both juvenile and adult.
The following special €200 club packages offer savings to all our members: (1) Adult players can join the weekly Club Lotto, County Draw and renew membership for €200; (2) Non playing adults can join the Club Lotto, County Draw and renew membership for €200; (3) Parents of juveniles will be given one annual Club Lotto and one County Draw subscription plus family membership for €200. In effect, all who avail of these packages will have free membership in addition to annual Lotto and County Draw subscriptions. A family of two adults and two juveniles can make a saving of €120. Anybody availing of this package will be entered into a draw for two All-Ireland hurling tickets.
