Mighty Macs
Mighty Macs continues in Cloughjordan this Saturday at 10.30am. Great fun for girls nad boys aged 4, 5 and 6. No camogie gear necessary, just runners and tracksuit.
U8 & U10
Training continues in Ardcroney this Wednesday at 7pm.
U12
The u12s played Shannon Rovers in Ballinderry last Wednesday evening. The first half was very closely contested with both sets of backs on top. Sarah Cleary played her captain’s role perfectly and cleared ball after ball. She got great support in defence from Keira Madden and Lucy Gould. A Kilruane goal was the only score of the half. Kilruane upped the tempo in the second half and pulled away to finish 4-0 to nil. Scorers on the day were Ali O’Kelly and Aoife Williams. The third game is fixed for tonight, Wednesday, against Silvermines in Dolla.
U16
The second round of the U16 championship will see Kilruane play the Silvermines this Friday at 6.30pm in Dolla.
County Minor
Laura Shinners and the Tipperary minor outfit will play their All Ireland Semi-Final this Saturday against Galway. Venue to be confirmed.
Intermediate
Our intermediates lost to Moneygall on Sunday in the second round of their league campaign. The third round will see them face Drom on Saturday at 12pm in Cloughjordan. Come along and support the girls in black and white!
Handball
The last of the Munster 40x20 Juvenile Finals were played at the weekend in Newmarket-on-Fergus. Tipperary were represented in girls U12 doubles by Kilruane camogie club players Christine Percy and Lucy Gould who had a great win against Clare in two games 15-1, 15-4. Hannah Grace and Leanne Gould were the Tipp representatives in U13 doubles and defeated their Clare opponents on a score line of 15-6, 15-2. Well done to all involved.
Róisín Cahill and her partner Sinéad Meagher were victorious in their quest for a Ladies 40x20 All-Ireland Junior A Doubles title in Kingscourt on Sunday. The girls overcame Kilkenny opponents on a score line of 21-16, 21-1. Congratulations to both!
Committee Meeting
The monthly committee meeting will take place in Ardcroney Hall on Tuesday 17th April at 8.30pm
Sympathy
