The u12s played Shannon Rovers in Ballinderry last Wednesday evening. The first half was very closely contested with both sets of backs on top. Sarah Cleary played her captain’s role perfectly and cleared ball after ball. She got great support in defence from Keira Madden and Lucy Gould. A Kilruane goal was the only score of the half. Kilruane upped the tempo in the second half and pulled away to finish 4-0 to nil. Scorers on the day were Ali O’Kelly and Aoife Williams. The third game is fixed for tonight, Wednesday, against Silvermines in Dolla.
