In the County quarter-final MacDonaghs play Thurles in Nenagh on this Saturday, 29th September at 4.00pm. The challenges don’t come any bigger than against the reigning County champions who field a galaxy of inter-county stars. Once again, nobody outside the parish is giving us a realistic chance but the team is ready to give this one almighty effort. Our supporters were phenomenal in the North final and we ask you rally to the cause in Nenagh on Saturday and drive this team on. Together as one united parish we can confound the pundits once more.

MacDonaghs take on Drom & Inch in the County semi-final in Templederry on this Sunday, 30th September at 12. Drom had a facile victory in the Mid final and have been touted as likely County champions. MacDonaghs showed great heart in the North final and with your support the boys can spring another surprise.

On Saturday we travelled to Puckane for a Blitz with Kiladangan and Newport. We had two teams and played three games. A great morning’s hurling was had by all. Thanks to Kiladangan for the invitation.
