Under 10

The season came to an end last Friday evening with a party in the Thomas MacDonagh Complex. This panel of players had an extremely busy schedule since last February. They had great fun during the year, playing teams from different counties such as Galway, Cork, Westmeath, Kilkenny, Offaly, Clare and Limerick and winning a number of tournaments in the process. The 29 members of the panel were presented with a certificate plus sliotar and hurley grip by senior stars Justin Cahill, Jerome Cahill, Jack Peters and Cian Darcy. Jack had lovely words of encouragement for the boys. A huge thank you to all the parents for their help and support during 2018. It was a fitting end to a great year. Roll on 2019.

Win a Car

There are just over two weeks left to join the 700 Draw. The GAA and Camogie clubs would like to thank everybody who has already bought a ticket. It is full steam ahead for promoters in an effort to sell the full complement of tickets. The success of this draw is crucial in financing the installation of the Astro Turf at the Hurling Wall. The Star Prize, a Citroen C3 Car sponsored by Mulcahy Car Sales, Ardcroney, has grabbed the attention of the public. There is a total Prize Fund in excess of €20,000 with 12 prizes on offer.  The draw will take place in the Corner House, Cloughjordan on Friday, 16th November. Tickets costing €100 are available from any committee member or senior player.

The Annual General Meeting has been pencilled in for Friday, 30th November at 8.00pm. It will be preceded by Mass for deceased members in Cloughjordan Church at 7.30pm. Nomination forms are available on the website and must be returned by this Friday, 9th November.
