Kilruane MacDonaghs play Loughmore-Castleiney in the Dan Breen quarter-final in Semple Stadium on Saturday at 5.00pm. This game will be shown on RTE. The teams have clashed on five previous occasions in the championship: 1986 County Semi-Final in Cashel MacDonaghs 1-14 Loughmore 2-8; 1987 County Semi-Final in Semple Stadium Loughmore 1-12 MacDonaghs 0-12; 1994 County Quarter-Final in Nenagh MacDonaghs 1-14 Loughmore 1-11; 2004 Group Match in Moneygall MacDonaghs 1-15(18) Loughmore 2-12(18); 2020 Group Match in Semple Stadium Loughmore 2-14 MacDonaghs 2-12. Junior Football

A 4-11 to 1-4 loss against Shannon Rovers in Ardcroney ended our interest in the Junior ‘B’ football championship. Thanks to the players that made themselves available for this encounter.

 

Junior ‘C’

The final group game is away to Ballina on this Sunday, 17th October at 2.00pm. The result of this game will determine our fate in the competition.

 

 

 

Under 13

On last Sunday morning the U13 participated in the David Bourke Memorial Tournament in Na team participated in the David Bourke Memorial Tournament in Na Piarsaigh, Limerick. Thanks to Na Piarsaigh for the invitation and their hospitality. Andrew Austin received the most skillful MacDonaghs player award.

 

Under 7

The players assembled in the Astro Turf on last Friday night for their final session of the season. Niall O’Meara and Craig Morgan were on hand to make the presentations. Refreshments were served to all the players and parents. Thanks to the coaches who looked after this group.

Tipperary Draw

Club Gear

On Friday, 22nd October Niall O’Meara will be present in the Clubroom from 6.30pm to 8.00pm with samples of Kilruane MacDonaghs Gear from Bourke Sports. Orders will be taken on the night.

 

Bingo

Saturday, 23rd October will see the resumption of Bingo in the Fr. Niall O’Meara Centre, Kilruane at 8.00pm. We hope to welcome back all our regulars and look forward to seeing new players join us for the weekly sessions.
