Congratulations to John McGrath (Hurler of the Year) and Darragh McCarthy (Young Hurler of the Year) and the seven Tipperary All-Star recipients. Craig Morgan was one of the thirteen Tipperary nominees.

 

Harty Cup

Shane Cleary, Cormac Kennedy, Hugo Healy, Cillian Healy and Charlie Kennedy played with the Nenagh CBS team in the second round victory over Ard Scoil Rís in Newport.

 

Window on the Past

On Sunday, 10th November 1985, Kilruane MacDonaghs won the County junior final with a 4-12 to 1-4 victory over Cappawhite in Semple Stadium. Team: Michael Cahill, William Cleary, Pat Foote, Donal Treacy, John Quinlan, Paddy Spain (0-1), Sean Williams, Paddy Hayes, Peter Moyles, David Quinlan (2-1), Seamus Darcy, Eamonn Kirby (0-2), Dan Darcy (1-3), Len Gaynor (1-5), Tom Hutchinson.
