U17 Hurling
In the fifth round of the North/Mid League, we lost 4-15 to 1-15 against Boherlahan in MacDonagh Park.
Cumann na mBunscol
Kilruane NS U11 hurling team qualified for the County final with a two-point victory over Cappawhite NS in the Ragg. The Kilruane U11 camogie team also booked a place in the final in Semple Stadium by getting the better of Cappawhite. Cloughjordan U13 camogie team advanced to the County semi-final with a victory over Gaelscoil Cluain Meala.
U9
Cistercian College, Roscrea, was the venue for the U9 Blitz last Friday. Our players enjoyed a wonderful evening of hurling.
Cúl Camp
Once again, the club is running two Cúl Camps, 3rd to 7th July, and 17th to 21st July. The Camps are open to boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 13. There will be a week of action-packed activities. Each participant will receive the Cúl Camp Kit pack, consisting of backpack, jersey and ¼ zip top. The cost is €75 for the first child; €60 for the second child; €50 for third and subsequent children. All booking is online at www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie
Camogie
Congratulations to Lisa Cahill, who lined out a centre-back on the Tipperary junior camogie team that claimed the Munster title with a victory over Limerick in Holycross.
New South Wales
Congratulations to Niall Shinners, who played on the Michael Cusacks team that won the New South Wales hurling championship at the weekend.
Bingo
The weekly Bingo session continues on Saturday night in the Fr. O’Meara Centre, Kilruane at 8.00pm. The jackpot now stands at €1,400.
