Allianz League
Best of luck to Craig Morgan and the Tipperary team in the Allianz League final against Cork.

Senior
In the second round of the County League, we lost to Borris-Ileigh in Bishop Quinlan Park on a 1-29 to 1-13 scoreline. On an ideal day for hurling, Shane Cleary put us in front for the only time in the game with a point in the second minute. Left wing-back Tom Delaney fired a long-range effort between the posts to level matters. The prolific Eddie Ryan raised a white flag to put the home side in front. Borris-Ileigh added four without reply to lead 0-6 to 0-1 after six minutes. In control in all areas of the field, Borris-Ileigh led 0-15 to 0-8 at the break. Any hope of a MacDonaghs recovery was dashed two minutes into the second half when Jerry Kelly finished to the net. Although Michael Cleary scored a terrific goal in the 36th minute, the only issue that remained in doubt was the margin of victory for the home side who ran out comfortable winners.
Team: Páidí Williams, Paddy Ryan, Kieran Cahill, Cathal England, James Cleary, Aaron Morgan, Eamonn Coonan, Conor Austin (0-1), Brian O’Meara, Thomas Cleary, Shane Cleary (0-1), Michael Cleary (1-0), Niall O’Meara (0-6, 0-3 frees, 0-1 65), Cian Darcy (0-4, 0-1 free). Junior
In the second round of the County League, we lost 0-19 to 0-17 against Lattin Cullen in MacDonagh Park. The West Tipperary club was founded in 1949 and this was the first time Kilruane MacDonaghs and Lattin Cullen have met in either hurling or football. We trailed by two points at the break with the scoreboard reading 0-9 to 1-4 in favour of the visitors. Oisín O’Meara had scored the goal in the 26th minute. An improved second-half performance saw us go into a four point-lead with ten minutes left. However, the visitors finished strongly and scored 1-1 in injury time to claim victory.
Team: Tom Austin, Paul Molloy, Fearghal Doheny, Cian Hayes, Paddy Ryan (0-2), Eanna Hogan (Capt), Sean Quinlan, Johnny Naughnane (0-1), Brian O’Meara (0-1), Kevin Shinners (0-1), Páidí Williams (0-5, 0-3 frees), Cillian Healy (0-1), Oisín O’Meara (2-0), Conor Doheny (0-2, 0-1 free), Fiachradh Ahearne Woods (0-1).
