Minor Football

In the North/Mid League, our U17 team travelled to Templemore to play JK Brackens under lights and recorded a 6-6 to 1-10 victory.  Lucas Jones. Charlie Kennedy, Fearghal Doheny, Jack Quinlisk, Paul Molloy, Shane Cleary, Cormac Gaynor, Tommy Burriss, Ray Quinlivan, Cormac Kennedy, Tommy O’Meara, Cathal McIntyre, Donnacha O’Meara, Andrew Austin, Michael Cleary. Subs: Dara O’Looney, Shay Óg Kennedy, Paraic Nevin, William Jones, Cóilín Doris.

Under 15 Football

Our second team had a 3-4 to 2-4 away victory over Thurles Gaels. All players worked extremely hard on a full-length pitch in an eleven-a-side game. We dominated possession in the first half and led by 1-2 to 1-0 at the interval. Dylan Hussey Sheehan gave an outstanding display and covered every blade of grass on the field. A special thanks to young Isaac Hussey Sheehan, who obliged management by turning up to play as we were short of players due to sickness and injury.

Team: Ciaran Foote (2-0), Sean Whelan, Harry Gannon, Arman Khan Wahid, Conor McGrath, Dylan Hussey Sheahan, Emmet Dwyer (0-2), Shane O´Meara (1-0), Oisín Carroll (0-2), Tom Hannan, James Last. Sub: Isaac Hussey Sheahan.

U13 Football.

In the U13 championship, we had mixed fortunes. In MacDonagh Park, our U13 ‘C’ and ‘D’ teams took the points against Roscrea while the ‘A’ team were edged out by Toomevara and lost to a strong Newport team in Lacken Park.
