Junior
In the second round of the Junior ‘A’ League, we lost to Toomevara in MacDonagh Park. The first half was very even and with twenty-five minutes gone MacDonaghs led by 3-4 to 2-6. However, Toomevara built up a head of steam approaching the interval and led by 4-9 to 3-6 at the break. The visitors controlled the second half, and ran out comfortable winners on a 6-21 to 4-11 scoreline.

Under 11
Last Saturday, our U11 football team participated in the Michael Hogan Festival of Football in Nenagh. They played Durlas Óg, Mullinahone, Clonmel Commercials and Ardfinnan, winning three games. On this Saturday, 10th June, both our teams play Roscrea in MacDonagh Park at 10.00am.
U9
Last Friday evening, we hosted Loughmore Castleiney and Moneygall for a Blitz in Ardcroney. Thanks to our visitors for travelling.
Cumann na mBunscol
Three parish teams were in action in the County Finals in Semple Stadium. Kilruane NS U11 camogie team had an exciting 4-8 to 3-8 victory over Upperchurch NS to win the first title of the two-day festival. Later in the day, Ardcroney NS U11 hurling team withstood a second half comeback by Clerihan NS to win by 4-8 to 3-8. In a thrilling final, the Kilruane NS U11 hurling team came out the wrong side of a 1-17 to 2-12 scoreline against Mullinahone NS in one of the best of the thirty finals that were played in the Field of Legends. Well done to the three teams and thanks to the teachers who continue to promote Gaelic games in our parish schools.
Jersey Launch
On next Friday, 9th June, the new Kilruane MacDonaghs GAA & Camogie Club jersey will be launched by Damian Lawlor in the Complex at 8.00pm. Our new sponsorship initiative ”Friends of MacDonaghs” will also be launched. This is a night for all of our club and community, both young and old, to come together with members of our senior hurling and camogie panels for the launch. There will be a free raffle for a number of our new juvenile camogie and hurling jerseys and refreshments will be served on the night.
Cúl Camp
The club is running two Cúl Camps, 3rd to 7th July, and 17th to 21st July. The Camps are open to boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 13. There will be a week of action-packed activities. Each participant will receive the Cúl Camp Kit pack, consisting of backpack, jersey and ¼ zip top. The cost is €75 for the first child; €60 for the second child; €50 for third and subsequent children. All booking is online at www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie
Community Games
Congratulations to the Cloughjordan U13 girls’ team on winning the All-Ireland Futsal final and to the U11, U14 and U16 Tag Rugby teams on claiming County titles.
Tipperary Draw
We had four winners in last Friday night’s Draw. Dolores Mannion, Moanfin won the second prize of €5,000 with Len Gaynor picking up the €400 promoter’s prize. Raymond Heffernan, Ardcroney and Fiona Conroy, Ballinamurra won €500 each. With just one Draw left, promoters and subscribers are asked to bring all payments up to date.
Bingo
The weekly Bingo session continues on Saturday night in the Fr. O’Meara Centre, Kilruane at 8.00pm. The jackpot now stands at €1,400.
Lotto
