In the first round of the County Championship, we will play Borris-Ileigh on the weekend of 27th July.
Junior
In the first round of the ‘A’ championship, we play Roscrea in Borrisoleigh this Friday, 20th June, at 7.15pm.
In the ‘B’ championship, we have been drawn in a group with Templederry, Roscrea, Toomevara and Lorrha. We have a bye in the first round.
U14
Well done to Tiarnán Casey, who played on the North/Mid U14 football team in their victory over Carlow in Shield Final of the Camida Cup in Killenaule.
U13
In the first round of the championship, our ‘A’ team drew with Roscrea in St. Cronan’s Park. We scored 6-8 in reply to 5-11 for the home side. In the ‘D’ game, Roscrea had a 1-7 to 0-4 victory.
Cumann na mBunscol
St. Michael’s NS, Cloughjordan and Ardcroney NS U13 camogie teams contested County finals in Semple Stadium. Both teams acquitted themselves admirably but had to give second best to Carrig and Upperchurch in their respective finals.
Cúl Camp
The annual Cúl Camps will be held in MacDonagh Park on 30th June to 4th July and 14th to 18th July from 10.00am to 2.00pm each day. The Camps are open to boys and girls aged 6 to 13. The cost is €82.50 for the first child, €75 for the second child and €65 for third and subsequent children. Book your place on kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie
