Senior

In the final round of the County League we play Thurles in MacDonagh Park on this Sunday, 23rd June at 1.30pm.

Junior

In the second round of the championship we were beaten by a much better Nenagh side in Kilcolman on a 3-22 to 2-9 scoreline. Nenagh controlled the game from the start and led by nine points at the interval. Losing a man overboard before the interval didn’t help matters and Nenagh went on to record a comfortable victory.

Team: Niall Shinners, David Mooney, Shane Williams, Kevin Oakley, Alan Darcy, Declan Barrett, Martin Grace, Jonathan Cahill (1-0), Tom Dooley, Luke Dervan, Paddy Ryan, Cormac Williams, Conor Doheny (1-6, 0-3 from frees & 65), Mark O’Meara (0-1) and Cormac Mannion. Subs: Brian O’Meara, James Williams (0-2), David Williams and Arran Conroy.

The team must now regroup for the next game against Borris-Ileigh.

Under 10

The team and management had an early start Saturday morning as they made their way to the annual Naas tournament. The first game was against Caherline from Limerick. A win here set the boys up for a second round clash against an excellent Dicksboro team. This was a fantastic game with the Kilkenny outfit leading by four points at half time. A great second half performance from Kilruane saw them winning with a last-minute goal.

A win over Mount Leinster Rangers qualified MacDonaghs for the final. A great panel effort saw Kilruane MacDonaghs victorious over a gallant Moycarkey Borris side. Thanks very much to the Naas club for the invitation and running a great tournament.

Panel: Oisin Carroll, Tom Campbell, Thomas Gaynor, Aidan Troy, Karl Ryan, Dara Gaynor, Conor McGrath, Hugo Healy, James Gould, Kallen Grace, Cullen Harverty, Tarla Dorris, Shane O'Meara, Gerard O'Looney, Senan O'Leary.

Primary Game

Cian Moyles Kilruane N.S. lined out on the Tipperary Primary Game hurling team in Semple Stadium last Sunday. It was a great experience for Cian to play in the field of Legends.
