Senior

In the first round of the County championship Kilruane MacDonaghs will play Thurles Sarsfields in Holycross on Saturday, 25th July at 3.00pm.

 

Juvenile Championships

The U16 hurling championship begins on Monday 20th July with the U12s in action the following day. The U14 competition is scheduled to start on Thursday, 23rd July.  

 

Return to Play

MacDonagh Park has reopened and our teams are returning to training on a phased basis. Thanks to all players, parents and Covid Supervisors for their co-operation in ensuring that all our teams are adhering to the Return to Play Guidelines.

 

Education

A certified eLearning Module is now available online. Players, parents/guardians and team personnel must complete this Module and record or document a certificate of completion for the Covid Supervisor prior to any resumption of training. The link has been forwarded to all teams.

 

Health Questionnaire

Adult players and parents/guardians are required to complete an online Health Questionnaire once prior to return to their GAA Activities. Adult players and parents/guardians of underage players will then be required to declare before each training session/game that their health status has not changed.

 

Membership

Membership fees for 2020: Juvenile & Minors €30; Players over minor €100 –this includes Lotto subscription for the year; and non-playing adults €30. Players should pay their respective managers and supporters can join with any committee member.

 

Club Package

For just €200 you will have a full year’s Lotto subscription, entry to the Tipperary Draw as well as your membership. In effect, supporters who subscribe to this package will have free membership — a saving of €30. Supporters have the option of paying by direct debit.

 

Shaun Hilmi Fundraiser

Sixteen-year-old Shaun Hilmi, Beechwood has been diagnosed with a serious illness. The treatment which Shaun needs is expensive. A Go Fund Me page has been set up and the GAA Community is being asked to come together and help Shaun complete his journey back to full health. Shaun is a cousin of inter-county star Jake Morris.

 

Sympathy

The club extends sympathy to the Teefey family, Ardcroney on the death of Kathleen Teefey (née O’Meara) and to the Cahalan and Gaynor families on the death of Julia Cahalan (née Gaynor), Coolagorna, Ardcroney.
