Junior
In the sixth round of the championship, we lost 2-16 to 2-13 against Ballinahinch in Toomevara. We trailed by five points at the break and fell nine points in arrears in the third quarter. Two goals from frees (41st & 59th minutes) by Eoin Carroll kept us in the hunt. Heading into injury time, we had cut the deficit to the minimum, but Ballinahinch scored the last two points to emerge winners.

Minor
In the third round of the championship, we had a 2-22 to 0-13 away victory over Ballina.

In the third round of the championship, we play Lorrha Rovers in MacDonagh Park this Thursday, 18th July, at 7.30pm.
U13
Our three teams were in action last week. Our second team had a home victory over Portroe in the ‘C’ championship while our ‘A’ and ‘D’ teams travelled to St. Michael’s Park, but just came up short against Toomevara.
Summer Camp
Niall O’Meara’s annual Summer Camp takes place in Ardcroney NS from Monday, 22nd to Friday 26th July. Monday to Thursday the Camp starts at 9.00am and finishes at 2.00pm while Friday has an earlier finishing time of 1.00pm. Contact Niall 0862587189 for more details.
Tipperary Draw
The new Tipperary Draw commences in July with a €500,000 prize fund, 10 monthly draws, 10 weekly draws and a total of 500 prizes. The star prize in July is €30,000 while the first prize every month from August to April is €20,000. Since its inception in 1988, the Tipperary Draw has contributed handsomely to club coffers, and over the years, our subscribers have scooped some of the biggest prizes on offer. With major plans to develop a second playing pitch and a 1km walkway, the Tipperary Draw will be a critical source of revenue for the club. The weekly Bingo session continues on Saturday night in the Fr. O’Meara Centre, Kilruane at 8.00pm. The jackpot is now a very attractive €1,800.
