Kilruane MacDonaghs Notes Jan-20-2019
In the first round of the County championship we will play Killenaule on the weekend of 7th April. We travel to Puckane to take on Kiladangan in the first round of the County league on Sunday, 10th March.
Niall O’Meara sustained an injury in last Sunday’s game against Wexford. Hopefully, it does not rule him out of contention for Tipperary’s clash against Kilkenny.
Best wishes to Craig Morgan, Cormac McGrath and the Mary I team in the Fitzgibbon Cup final against UCC in Waterford on Saturday.
Ballina will provide the opposition in the ‘B’ football final which takes place in Puckane on Thursday, 28th February at 8.00pm.
In the first round of the ‘A’ football championship we have an away game against Kiladangan on this Sunday, 24th February at 11.00am.
In the semi-final of the Féile Peil MacDonaghs had to give second best to a useful Moneygall/Clonakenny outfit in St. Flannan’s Park. Attention now switches to the Féile hurling with the first round scheduled to commence in a week’s time.
The presentation of medals to the U14 hurlers, U12 footballers and U11 hurlers takes place in the Thomas MacDonagh Complex on this Saturday, 23rd February at 7.30pm.
The monthly meeting of the club committee will be held on this Thursday, 21st February at 8.00pm. All committee members are requested to attend.
