Senior

In the first round of the County League, we are at home to Thurles Sarsfields on the weekend of 19th March. Toomevara, Drom & Inch, JK Brackens and Nenagh Éire Óg are also in the group.

Junior Football

In the Munster semi-final, Kilruane MacDonaghs lost 5-10 to 2-5 against Diarmuid O’Mathunas in Knockaderry. Short four of the championship winning team (Niall O’Meara, Kian O’Kelly, Sean McAdams & Matthew Moyles), MacDonaghs conceded a goal in the first minute and it was an uphill struggle after that. Kilruane enjoyed plenty of possession but weren’t as clinical in front of goals as the Cork champions who emerged deserving winners, though they were flattered by the scoreline.

Team: Kevin Shinners, Kevin Oakley, Kieran Cahill, James Cleary, Seamus Hennessy, Eoin Hogan, Conor Austin, Jerome Cahill (0-1), Mark O’Neill, Carl Williams (1-1, 0-1 free), Aaron Morgan (1-2, 0-1 free) Robert Austin, Matthew Spain, Cian Darcy (0-1), Oisín O’Meara. Subs: Martin Grace, Devlin Courtney, Ross Austin, Ciaran Coffey, Paddy Ryan.

In the first round of the championship, we are away to Nenagh on Sunday, 12th March at 12.00.

U17 Football

In the first round of the North/Mid League, Kilruane MacDonaghs are away to Lorrha/Rovers in Lorrha this Sunday, 5th March, at 2.30pm. JK Brackens and Moyne Templetuohy are also in the group.
