Sympathy

The club extends sympathy to the family of the late Padge Ryan, South Circular Road, Limerick and formerly Ardcroney. Padge won a North Tipperary senior medal in 1959 when he played corner-back on the Kilruane MacDonaghs team that overcame Toomevara in the final. He also won a North minor medal in 1952 when MacDonaghs had a victory over Nenagh in the final. Sympathy is also extended to Dinny Whelan and family, Fredericksburg, Virginia, USA, on the death of Dinny’s wife Katy. Dinny was an outstanding hurler for Kilruane MacDonaghs in the 1970s.
