Dinner Dance

Ashley Park House is the venue for the Dinner Dance which will be held on Friday, 18th January at 8.00pm. Guest of Honour will be Sean Kelly MEP former GAA President (2003-2006). The senior hurlers will be presented with their North Tipperary medals. Special guests on the night will be the Kilruane MacDonaghs 1993 U21 hurling team that won the North and County ‘B’ titles. Tickets, costing €50, are now available from Joe Whelan, Mary McLoughney, John Mulcahy, Michael O’Meara, Susan O’Brien, Brian Gaynor and Gilbert Williams.

Antarctic Ice Marathon

Congratulations to Seamus Hennessy who completed Antarctic Ice Marathon at the Union Glacier, Antarctica on Thursday, 13th December. He was the only Irish participant in this gruelling test of physical and mental endurance. Over sixty competitors lined up at the start in temperatures of -11 degrees C. Seamus finished in 33rd place in a very credible time of 7:02:33 hrs. More importantly he has exceeded his €200,000 target in support of Pieta House and Living Links.

Juvenile Presentation

The Juvenile medal presentation will be held in the Thomas MacDonagh Complex on Friday, 28th December.

Adjourned AGM

Thursday, 10th January has been pencilled in for the Adjourned AGM.

Juvenile AGM

The Annual General Meeting of the Juvenile Club will be held in the Clubroom on Thursday, 24th January.

Beannachtaí na Nollag

The Kilruane MacDonaghs club would like to wish its supporters, players, committee and officials a peaceful Christmas and a New Year blessed with good health and filled with contentment. We remember those who suffered bereavement during the year and all our parishioners, who are in exile, are also very much in our thoughts.
