In the third round of the County championship, we play Moycarkey Borris on Saturday in Templederry at 6.15pm. Admission is by ticket. Tap & Go will also operate. We are asking all our supporters to head to Templederry on Saturday evening and get behind the lads.



We will be fielding a team in the ‘C’ competition which is scheduled  to commence in September.



The semi-final is fixed for Wednesday, 30th August, in Cloughjordan, at 7.00pm. We will know our opponents after the quarter-finals are played.



In the ‘A’ quarter-final, we play Lorrha Rovers on Monday, 28th August, in Roscrea, at 7.00pm.



Congratulations to Cillian Healy, who captained the Tipperary U16 footballers to win the Gerry Reilly Shield final against Kildare in Cahir. Tipperary won by a point after extra time.



In the preliminary quarter-final, we lost 2-16 to 1-14 against Ballina in Kilcoleman. With the aid of the breeze in the first half, we led by five points at the break. However, Ballina were the better team in the second half and were deserving winners.



MacDonaghs Dubh qualified for the semi-final of the ‘A’ championship with a victory over Newport in Puckane. In the semi-final, they play Silvermines this Thursday, 24th August in Roscrea, at 7.00pm. MacDonaghs Bán played Newport in the ‘A’ semi-final on Tuesday.



Last Saturday, this panel travelled to the Cuala club in Dublin to participate in a Blitz. St. Sylvester’s were also involved. Twenty-seven players made the trip. We fielded two teams and enjoyed a great day’s hurling. Thanks to the coaches who looked after the players.



We participated in a football Blitz in Dr. Morris Park. We fielded three teams with twenty-one players involved.


Tipperary Draw

The Tipperary Draw commences this Friday, 25th August. There is a total prize fund of €600,000 with 10 car prizes, 20 Lotto jackpots plus 10 extra weekly draws. You are still in timer to join by contacting Carmel Daly or any committee member.



The weekly Bingo session continues on Saturday night in the Fr. O’Meara Centre, Kilruane at 8.00pm. The jackpot now stands at €1,450.



The jackpot next week will be €3,700. Tickets are available from the usual outlets, or you can play on Club Spot. Thanks for your continued support.
