In the U15 championship, our first team lost 3-5 to 1-8 against Roscrea in Ardcroney. Kilruane had all the ball for the first twenty minutes and missed numerous chances. At halftime, Roscrea led by 2-4 to 0-5. MacDonaghs rallied well in the second half and were unlucky not to get a draw after coming from nine points down.

Team: Kallen Grace, Mark Cleary, Tommy Gaynor, James Gould, Tadhg Teefey, Tom Campbell (0-1), Tarla Doris, Hugo Healy (0-5, 0-4 free) Jack O´Meara (0-2), Senan O´Leary, Karl Ryan, Gerard O´Looney, Tiarnán Casey, Dara Gaynor, Lukah Williams (1-0).  Subs: Michael Hutchinson, Ben Williams, Colin Gaynor, Robert Cleary.

In the ‘C’ championship, our second team were pipped 4-4 to 3-4 by Newport in Ardcroney. Kilruane played against the wind in the first half and missed a number of good scoring opportunities. The team tried hard but were unable to get a supply of ball to the forwards in the second half despite playing with the elements. Newport played much better in the second half and ran out deserving winners.

Quid Games Fundraiser

The Quid Game Fundraising Event is where the thrill of competition meets the spirit of supporting. Quid Game is a set of skills based games, a true test of accuracy, endurance & patience. We've got a lineup of 6 games that will test contestants' skills, challenge their wits, and leave you on the edge of your seats. The event takes place on Friday, 10th May, in the Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh. All funds raised will go towards our club development.

We are currently recruiting contestants who are willing to compete. A massive €10,000 will be divided among the winner (€3,000) and their chosen club/charity (€7,000). Best of all, there is no prior training or practice needed for the night. Contestants can come from far and wide. Do you know someone who wants to compete? Please contact Dave Carroll (087-233 2267) to sign up.
