Inter-County

Well done to Shane Cleary and the Tipperary U20 team on their victory over Waterford and to Hugo Healy and the Tipperary minor team on their victory over Clare.

 

Senior

In the County championship, we have been drawn in Group 1 with Holycross Ballycahill, Thurles Sarsfields and Upperchurch Drombane. In the third round of the County League, we play Moycarkey Borris this Saturday, 11th April, in MacDonagh Park, at 5.00pm.

 

Junior

Both of our teams are in action this weekend. The ‘B’ team head to Lacken Park to play Newport this Saturday, 11th April, at 6.00pm  in the second round of the North League while the ‘A’ team plays Fethard in the thkird round of the County League in MacDonagh Park this Sunday, 12th April, at 3.00pm.  

 

Under 14

The U14 football team travelled to St. Michael’s Park and claimed the points on offer with a 3-6 to 1-3 victory over Toomevara in the first round of the ‘A’ championship.

In the second round, we play Roscrea in Ardcroney this Thursday, 9th April, at 6.30pm.

 

Under 8

Toomevara was the venue for the first Blitz of the year. We fielded five teams with thirty-five boys togging out. The boys played very well, displaying fantastic teamwork and skill. Thanks to Toomevara for hosting and treating the players to Easter eggs after the match.

 

Mighty Macs

Activities continue this Saturday on the Astro Turf at 10.00am. All 4 to 6 year-old boys and girls are invited to attend. Wear runners. No hurls or helmets are needed. The emphasis is on fundamental movement, games and fun.

Bingo

The weekly Bingo session continues on Saturday night in the Fr. O’Meara Centre, Kilruane at 8.00pm. The jackpot has now climbed to €1,300.

 

Sympathy

The club extends sympathy to the family of the late Paddy Treacy, Cloughjordan, to the family of the late Pete Morris, Borrisokane and to the family of the late Teresa Slevin, Borrisokane.
