Under 19

A 2-17 to 3-12 semi-final loss against Ballinahinch/Templederry in Kilcolman brought the minor campaign to an end. Although Jack Mulcahy found the net in the third minute the combination were the better team in the first half and deservedly led by 1-8 to 1-4 at the interval. MacDonaghs hurled much better in the second half and drew level with three minutes to go. However, Ballinahinch/Templederry fired over the last two points to book a spot in the final. Team: Kevin Naughnane, Paul Dwyer, Cormac Doheny (Capt), Shane McAteer, Ciaran Coffey, Aaron Morgan (1-2), Ross Austin, David O’Sullivan, Rory Grace, Jack Mulcahy (1-0), Niosa Minogue, Pádraig Coonan, Eoin Carroll (0-2), Páidí Williams (1-7, 1-5 frees), Jack Gleeson.
