Auction & Social Night

The senior, juvenile and camogie clubs are organising a Monster Auction & Social Night in the Abbey Court Hotel on this Saturday, 4th March. Proceedings commence at 7.00pm with a wine reception. Auctioneer Seamus Costello will put the first lot up for auction at 8.00pm. Seamus will be ably assisted by Johnny Looby of Tipp FM fame. Everything must sell on the night. With over 200 items going under the hammer there will be bargains galore. Finger food will be provided and the night will conclude with music. Admission is €10. Patrons will receive a free raffle ticket for a 10x5 trailer of timber, 30 bags of turf and 10 bags of turf. Raffle tickets, costing €5, will also be on sale. There has been a fantastic response from parishioners and from the business community in North Tipperary and further afield with donations of timber (car trailers), turf, fodder and vouchers from shops, companies, tradesmen and service providers of all descriptions. One of the most attractive lots up for grabs will be an autumn mid-term break to Mercia in Spain for 2 adults and 2 children (flights and accommodation only). It's non transferable and valued in excess of €2,000. Thanks to all who have donated so generously. All donors will be entered into a draw for a weekend away.
