Inter County
Best of luck to Tipperary senior and minor teams against Clare on Sunday.
Senior
In the fifth round of the County League we lost to a much better Drom & Inch side in MacDonagh Park on a 2-28 to 3-13 scoreline. A severely depleted home side were never in the hunt against the visitors who led by 1-16 to 1-6 at the interval. The Drom half-backs were totally dominant throughout the match and they delivered quality ball to their forwards. One of the few positives in the game was the return to action of Jerome Cahill. He came through unscathed and hit four points in the process. The next round is away to Burgess on the weekend of 9th June.
Team: Niall Shinners, Martin Grace, Jack Peters, Conor Austin, Conor Lillis, Ray McLoughney (0-1 free), Caoilainn Conroy, Jerome Cahill (0-4), Seamus Hennessy (2-0, 1-0 from free), Sean McAdams, Conor Cleary (0-2), Mark O’Neill, Conor Doheny, Thomas Cleary (1-2) and Paddy Ryan. Subs: Kieran Cahill (0-3, 0-1 from free) and Luke Dervan. One point is unaccounted for.
