Juvenile

U6, U8 and U10 training continues on Wednesday evenings in Ardcroney at 7pm

U12

The u12 team travelled to Dolla last Wednesday night for a very useful practice match against Silvermines . Without the services of a few of the older girls the rest of the panel had a great opportunity to get plenty of game time. Thanks to Silvermines for the game. This week’s practice match is against Shannon Rovers.

U14

Our u14 team took on Newport in Newport last Saturday evening in the Community Games North final. Played in glorious sunshine the girls battled hard from start to finish. At half time the Cloughjordan girls trailed by 2 points and the gap was still 2 points midway through the second half. However a strong Newport side pulled away in the final quarter to claim the north title on a score line of 0-12 to 0-5.  To get to the north final in their first year of community games camogie was a great achievement. Well done to players and management.

Attention now turns to the u14 championship, which kicks off this Thursday evening against the Silvermines in Ardcroney at 7pm.

Intermediate

After a 2 point victory over Thurles in their last group league match on Sunday, our intermediates are through to a League Semi Final. Fixtures are to be confirmed but is expected to go ahead in June.

Tipp Camogie

The club was proudly represented by Róisín Cahill and Laura Shinners who were involved in Munster Championship at the weekend.

On Saturday evening, Róisín was on the team who overcame Limerick convincingly to reach the Munster Final against Cork in the coming weeks.

Laura was also on this panel but was spared for the Intermediate Munster Final on Sunday afternoon, falling short to a strong Cork side.

We wish them every success in their pursuit of a Senior Munster Title. Fixtures to be confirmed.
