U10
Our under 10s took part in a blitz in Puckane on Saturday and will be starting their parish league on Saturday at 5pm. Training Wednesday at 7pm in Ardcroney.
U12
Our under 12s made the long trip to Ballybacon last week for the second round of the A Autumn league. Short a number of players, the girls put in a fine performance but were beaten by a strong Ballybacon side.
We are away to Silvermines this week and then at home to Annacarthy on Tuesday 4th September.
U14
Our under 14s came up short to Roscrea on Saturday.
Intermediate
Our intermediates had two great wins in the past week, overcoming Moneygall on a convincing score difference in Clough on Wednesday night before setting out for Cashel on Sunday for a thrilling encounter. The girls found themselves three points down with eight minutes to go before a point each from Roisin and Lisa Cahill, as well as goals from Roisin and Claire Kennedy sealed Kilruane's eight point victory. Our backs gave an outstanding performance. The girls go on to play Thurles on Sunday in the third of their group championship matches.
Clothes collection
We will be collecting old clothes in aid of 'Running for Josie' up until the 30th of August. Bags of clothes can be dropped to juvenile training in Ardcroney on Wednesday night.
All Ireland victory
Congratulations to club men Jerome Cahill, Cian Darcy and Craig Morgan on their u21 all Ireland win over Cork in the Gaelic Grounds on Sunday.
