U12
The finals have been fixed for both of our under 12 teams. Kilruane Dubh will play Silvermines in the Ragg on Saturday, 31st August at 12 noon.
On Sunday 1st September, Kilruane Bán will play Toomevara in the same venue at 4pm.
U14
Our under 14's played away to Thurles on Tuesday night at 7pm. (Insert result)
Minor
Our minors played at home to Cashel on Monday evening in Ardcroney at 6.45pm (insert result)
Intermediate
Our intermediates got off to a great start in their championship campaign last Wednesday evening under poor conditions. They overcame the home side, Drom on a score line of 4-18 to 2-7. The girls will play Toomevara in the second round on Sunday September 1st at 11am in Cloughjordan. Come out and support the girls!
Handball
A successful weekend continued in the parish last Sunday with two girls teams making their way to Wexford to participate in girls Feile 60x30 handball.
Team two consisted of Clodagh Shinners, Katie Mulcahy, Aoife Williams, Ali O'Kelly and Lucy Gould who were runners up in the plate competition.
Team one included Leanne Gould, Hannah Grace, Christine Percy, Sarah and Emma Williams who won all their five games easily and Hannah won gold in the skills. A brilliant day was enjoyed, Cailíní Thiobraid Árainn Abú!
