U10

Our u10s were invited to a Camogie blitz in Carrig Riverstown on Saturday last. St Cillians,Kinnity and Kilcormac/Killoughey took part. Kilruane played excellently and emerged with three wins from three matches. Well done to all involved! Training continues every Wednesday evening at 7pm in Ardcroney and new members are welcome.

U12

Our u12s were beaten by a strong Silvermines side in Dolla last Wednesday evening.  Kilruane opened the scoring after two minutes but Silvermines were quick to equalise and push ahead. The Kilruane backs had a tough task on the night, but battled hard, none more so than Abigail Clarke, playing her first outfield game, and Eibhlis Hannan, playing her first game with the u12s. The forwards pushed hard to get a score in the closing moments but it finished Silvermines 5-2 to Kilruane 4-0.

U16

Our u16s were beaten by a strong Silvermines side on Friday evening on a score line of 6-11 to 2-1, bringing our championship campaign to an end. We will regroup in a couple of weeks for the summer league.

Tipp Minors

The Tipperary minors fell short to Galway on Saturday in their quest for a spot in the All-Ireland final. After a close half time score, Galway broke away and the outcome was 4-9 to 1-10. We are very proud of Laura Shinners and her progress in the championship so far which secured her a position at mid field on the day. We look forward to having her back with the club in the coming weeks of our league campaign.

Intermediate

Our intermediates overcame Drom in the third rounf of the league on Saturday with a score line of 4-6 to 3-8. There is no match fixed for next weekend so all focus is on the following weekend (28th/29th) when we will play Cashel at home. Details to be confirmed.
