Senior
In the quarter-final of the North championship, we have been drawn to play Nenagh Éire Óg.
Junior
In the third round of the County League, our ‘A’ team had a 4-12 to 0-18 victory over Galtee Rovers in Bansha. This was the first time we played a match at the West Tipperary venue. The game was actually played on 16th February 1975. In this latest encounter, we led 3-3 to 0-11 at the break. Páidí Williams, Michael Hennelly, Conor Doheny and Fiachradh Ahearne Woods raised the green flags.
Team: Kevin Naughnane (0-2 frees), Paul Molloy, Fearghal Doheny, Cian Hayes, Paddy Ryan, Shane Cleary, Cathal England, Johnny Naughnane, Brian O’Meara, Cillian Healy, Conor Doheny (1-0), Fiachradh Ahearne Woods (1-1), Michael Hennelly (1-1), Páidí Williams (1-1), Michael Cleary (0-5 frees). Subs: Kevin Shinners (0-1), Oisín O’Meara, Sean Hayes, David O’Sullivan.
In the first round of the North League, we play Toomevara in St. Michael’s Park this Saturday, 19th April, at 6.00pm. Our Junior ‘B’ team plays Shannon Rovers in the second round of the North League in MacDonagh Park, this Friday, 18th April, at 7.00pm.
