Schools Hurling: Congratulations to the Borrisokane Community College who won the Munster Semi –final v Ennis last week. The girls will play the Munster final this Saturday. Venue, Time and Opposition are unknown as of yet as they are waiting on the result of the other semi-final.
Adjourned AGM: The adjourned AGM is set for this Friday 27th January. Time and venue to be sent via text. All are welcome.
Medal Presentation: The u12s will be presented with their county medals from last year on Friday Feb 3rd in Cloughjordan Pavilion at 7:30. There will be tea on the night for all attending.
Handball: Congratulations to Jack Mulchay, Kate Mulcahy, Clodagh Shinners, Anna Mulcahy and Aine Spain who all won their handball matches at the weekend. Jack, Kate and Clodagh won the County finals playing for Ardcroney NS in the Cummann na mBunscoil competition and now go onto play in the Munster championship. Anna and Aine won their Munster quarter final v Cork in Kilworth on Saturday and now go on to play the semi-final in 2 weeks time. Hard luck to Laura Shinners who lost to a Cork girl in the Munster Quarter final on Saturday.
