Adjourned A.G.M.
There was a large attendance at a very constructive and productive Adjourned A.G.M.. Brian Gaynor manager of the minor team named Mick Cleary, David Quinlan, Michael Hogan and Dinny Cahill as selectors. The following affiliations were ratified: senior, junior, u-21 and minor hurling as well as minor and junior football. The first committee meeting of the year was fixed for Friday February 8th. Juvenile A.G.M
The A.G.M. of the juvenile club will be held in the clubroom on Friday February 1st at 8.00 p.m. . Dinner Dance The Dinner Dance takes place in the Abbey Court Hotel on Saturday February 16th at 9.00 p.m. with music by Ebony. The u-21s will receive their North and County medals. Tickets costing 35 euro are available from Connie Grace, Michael Cahill, Kay Cahalan, Mary McLoughney, Margaret Cleary, Susan O Brien, Len Gaynor and John O Meara.

600 Club
The club is launching a 600 club, which will help fund the proposed hurling wall that is being built in Thomas MacDonagh Park. Tickets will be on sale in February and the draw will take place in mid March. More details later. Membership Membership cards are now available. The fee for 2008 is 40 euro for players, 20 euro for non-playing adults and 10 euro for juveniles. Membership is mandatory for all players. Those who have paid their membership by Friday February 8th will be entered into a draw for a pair of dinner dance tickets. Members who have renewed their subscription by March 17th will be entered into a draw for two county draw tickets.

The latest edition of the club’s newsletter is being distributed to all households in the parish this week. This eight-page colour issue contains photographs and all the latest club news. It can also be downloaded from the website.
