Weekly Notes

Senior Hurling:
The senior hurlers are at home to Upperchurch – Drombane in the first round of the county league on this Sunday at 12.30p.m. (Note change of time and venue).

U/21 Football:
In the second leg of the U/21 football semi-final Kilruane MacDonaghs are at home to Silvermines on Saturday at 4.00p.m. Silvermines carry an eight point advantage into this game.

U/16 Football:

In the first round of the championship the U/16 footballers have been drawn away to Shannon Rovers Gaels on Monday March 26th. Inane Rovers and Toomevara are also in the group with two qualifying for the semi-final.

U/14 Football:
In the first round on Wednesday March 28th the U/14 footballers face Inane Rovers in Roscrea. Nenagh and Burgess are also in the group which will be played on a round robin basis, with the first playing fourth and second against third in the semi-finals.

U/12 Football:
As with the U/14 section only four teams compete in U/12A football. Kilruane MacDonaghs are at home to Nenagh in the first round on Thursday March 29th. Inane Rovers and Burgess complete the line-up, with an open draw for the semi-finals.

Peil Na nÓg:
In the first round the U/14 footballers have been drawn away to Burgess on Monday March 19th.

Membership:
Membership is compulsory for all players from U/8 up to senior. Application forms are available from the various managers. The fee for 2007 is €40 for adult players, €20 for non playing adults and €5 for juveniles.

Sympathy:
The club would like to extend its sympathy to the McGrath family on the death of Eileen McGrath.
