U-21 Hurling
The u-21 hurlers qualified for the North final with six points to spare against Borris-Ileigh on a 2-15 to 1-12 scoreline. After a slow start MacDonaghs got into their stride and opened up a seven point lead with Michael Costello grabbing a goal from a narrow angle. Borris finished the half strongly with four points to leave MacDonaghs three ahead at the break. Borris-Ileigh added a point on the resumption before MacDonaghs upped the tempo and helped by a Colm Williams goal they opened a nine point gap. A late Borris penalty left six between the sides at the final whistle. North Final
Kilruane MacDonaghs play Shannon Rovers Gaels in the North u-21 final in Nenagh on this Saturday at 4.00 p.m. .

Junior Hurling
In the county quarter-final the junior hurlers will play South champions Moyle Rovers. No date or venue have been finalised.

County Draw
Congratulations to Seamus O Sullivan who won €I,000 in the county draw.

All-Ireland Forecast
Ann O Meara, Carriganagh and Joe Ryan Ballythomas won €250 each in the All-Ireland forecast competition organised by the Juvenile Club. ,
