Seniors Out of Championship

Senior Hurling
A narrow two point defeat at the hands of Burgess ended the senior team’s interest in this years’ championship. The club wishes a speedy recovery to Diarmuid Cahill who suffered a broken jaw in the first half but showed great determination in seeing out the game to the end.

Junior Hurling
The junior hurlers lost out to Kildangan in the first round of the championship on a 2-18 to 2-8 scoreline. Team; Ruan Casey, David Slattery, Colin England, Freddie Williams, Edmond Morkan, Thomas Williams (0-4), Fergal England, Michael Reddan (0-1), Declan Barrett James Williams (1-1), Denis Cahill, Jason Darcy, Pat Conway (0-1), Brendan Ryan and Darren Killackey (1-1). Subs: Timmy Walsh, Niall Murphy, Finbar McLoughney and Scott Hodgins.

U-16 Hurling
The u-16 hurlers are at home to Templederry in the second round of the championship on Friday at 6.45 p.m..

Dan O Meara Tournament
The u-16 hurlers drew with Shinrone in the final of the Dan O Meara tournament in MacDonagh Park. Thanks to Joe Cahill who refereed.

Coaching
Hurling coaching for all primary school boys continues on this Saturday at 11 o clock. Gilbert Wlliams and his team will be in charge
