 Senior Hurlers

The senior hurlers kept their qualification hopes alive with a good win against Roscrea. On next Sunday they play Lorrha & Dorrha in the semi-final of the county league in Nenagh at 1.30 p.m.

Junior Hurling

The junior hurlers play Silvermines in the first round of the championship on this Saturday bin Nenagh at 7.30 p.m.

U-12 Hurling

The U-12 hurlers had a home win against Nenagh Eire Og in the first round of the championship on a 5-10 to 3-3 scoreline in a good contest between two evenly matched teams. MacDonaghs trailed by two points at the interval but a brace of goals in the second half from substitute Kevin Shinners propelled them to victory. Team: Niall Shinners, Arran Conroy, Rory McCarthy, Brendan McAdams, Paul Guidera, Darragh Peters (0-3), Roisin Cahill, Cian Darcy (1-4), Jerome Cahill, James Cleary, Willie Ryan (0-2), Kieran Brereton (0-1), Craig Morgan (2-0), Declan Elderfield and Sean Quinlan. Subs: Kevin Shinners, Martin Grace, Ethan Hayes and Oisin O Meara. They are in action again on this Friday evening. Check fixtures.

U-21 Hurling

Well done to Seamus Hennessy, Shane Quinlan and Eoin Hogan on Tipperary’s victory against Cork in the Munster U-21 hurling championship.

Coaching

We had a fantastic attendance of sixty six at last Saturday’s hurling coaching session in MacDonagh Park. Thanks to all the coaches who were present. All U-6, U-8, U-10 and U-12 hurlers should be present next Saturday at 11 o clock.
