The senior hurlers have been drawn against Kildangan in the preliminary round of the North championship.They met last year in the county league in Puckane when Kilruane MacDonaghs came out on top.
Their previous meeting was in the North Intermediate semi-final in 2003 when MacDonaghs played a great second half into the wind to record a narrow victory.
The last time they met in the senior championship was in 1974 when the men in black and white were again victorious. The winners of the Kilruane and Kildangan game will play Moneygall in the first round.
