Senior Hurling
The senior hurlers play Portroe in the second round of the championship in Nenagh on Sunday at 1.30 p.m.

Parish League
The first round of the parish league took place in MacDonagh Park last Saturday. In the opening game Kyle had four points to spare against De Wets on a 4-3 to 3-2 scoreline. The second game finished level with Knocknacree scoring 2-8 and Gorry Rangers 4-2. Reports on games plus photos can be seen on www.kilruanemacdonaghs.com Next Saturday will see Kyle face Gorry Rangers and Knocknacree take on De Wets. All players should be in MacDonagh Park at 10.45.

Minor Hurling
Well done to Mark O Leary who steered Tipperary minor hurlers to victory against Limerick in the opening round of the Munster championship. In the North championship Kilruane MacDonaghs will be at home to Borris-Ileigh in the first round. Roscrea and Toomevara are also in the group.

Minor Football
The minor footballers play Lorrha & Dorrha in the semi-final in Borrisokane on this Wednesday May 6th at 7.15 p.m.

U-21 Hurling
In the quarter-final the u-21 hurlers have been drawn against Nenagh Eire Og. This game is scheduled for Friday June 26th.

Junior Hurling
The junior hurlers will play Silvermines in the championship. This match is pencilled in for the weekend of June 14th. Burgess, Lorrha & Dorrha and Borris-Ileigh are also in the group.

Schools Hurling
Ardcroney N.S. had two good victories against Lorrha/Redwood and Gurtagarry N.S. Team: Niall Shinners, William Ryan, Brendan McAdams, Conor Doheny, Kevin Shinners, John Cahalan, Roisin Cahill, Jerome Cahill, Niall Ryan, Emma Cleary and Tommy Holland. Subs: Daniel Ryan, John Blagdon, Daniel Heffernan, Patrick Hayes, Eoin Mulcahy, Peter Folan, Luke Carroll, Nathan Ryan, Kevin Oakley and Pearse Cahalan. The next game they will play Sacred Heart Roscrea with a semi-final spot at stake.

U-14 Football
Ballina beat the u-14 footballers in the semi-final on a 2-3 to 1-4 scoreline. Ballina had the better of matters in the first half and led by six points at the interval. MacDonaghs showed considerable improvement in the second half and reduced the deficit to two points at the finish. This was an encouraging display by the team which was short the services of some regulars. Team: Anthony Spillane, Kieran Brereton, Tomás Hogan, Conor Austin, Peter Blessing, Abhain Coleman, Darragh Peters, Aidan Boyle, Sean Cleary, Cillian Finn, Conor Cleary, Ciaran Spillane, Bob Dooley, Cian Darcy and Finnian Mannion. Subs: Willie Ryan, Cormac Boyle, Darren Hassett and Conor McAdams.

U-12 Football
In the last group game Nenagh Eire Og beat the u-12 footballers on a 2-5 to 1-1 scoreline. Both sides will face each other again in the final. Team: Darragh Fogarty, Arran Conroy, Declan Elderfield, Brendan McAdams, Jerome Cahill, Kieran Brereton, Karl Williams, Cian Darcy, James Cleary, Tommy Dooley, Kevin Shinners, Martin Grace, Cormac Mannion, Rory McCarthy and Ethan Hayes. Subs: Oisin O Meara, Craig Morgan, Niall Shinners, Paul Guidera, Willie Ryan and Roisin Cahill.

GAA 125
A steady stream of visitors visited the club exhibition of photographs and club memorabilia in the clubroom last Monday evening. Thanks to Paddy Williams who collected the various items which captured the attention of the large attendance. Club president Tom Cleary presented the county league medals to the senior team and Michelle Drysdale, great grand daughter of Thomas MacDonagh presented the north medals to the minor footballers. The gathering also listened to the concluding stages Michael O Muircheartaigh’s commentary on the All-Ireland club final victory. This CD can be purchased from Paddy Williams 087-9077413. County Draw
This year’s county draw has a prize fund of €750,000. There are a total of 700 prizes to be won during the year including two cars each month. The subscription for the year remains at €100. This can be paid in ten monthly installments or by direct debit. This draw is one of the clubs primary sources of income and we look forward to the usual generous response of our loyal supporters. The first draw will take place on June 5th. During the next few weeks the committee will be contacting all existing subscribers and will be canvassing the parish for new members.
