Schools Hurling
Kilruane N.S. advanced to the quarter final of the championship with an away win against Moneygall N.S. . In the second round they will play Carrig N.S. . Team: Darragh Peters, Mary Walsh, Jack Banaghan, James Cleary, Tomás Hogan, Raymond Kelly, Finnian Mannion, Jason Burns, Jack Peters, John Healy and Stephen Cleary. Subs: Shaun Farrell, Peter Blessing, Caolainn Conroy, Cillian Finn, Kieran Lillis, Thomas Blessing, Shane Slevin and Alex Jones.
Ardcroney N.S. also qualified for the quarter final when they defeated Gortagarry N.S. in Toomevara. Team: Anthony Spillane, Abhainn Coleman, William Ryan, Patrick Ryan, Conor Cleary, Sean Cleary, Bob Dooley, Conor Doheny, Aidan Boyle, Conor McAdams and Cormac Boyle. Subs: Niall Shinners, Ciaran Spillane and Niall Ryan. Ardcroney now face the Gaelscoil in the next round.
Cloughjordan N.S. who were promoted to a higher division after last year’s success were just pipped by Portroe on a 2-3 to 2-2 scoreline. Team; Keelan Troy, Conor Austin, Andrew Hodgins, Brian Dooley, Andrew Brennan (1-0), Anton Banaghan, Jack Farrell, Mark Tierney (1-0), Dean O Meara (0-1), Cian Darcy, Paul Guidera and Kieran Brereton. Clouughjordan now enter the plate competition.
Parish League
After last week’s third round the identity of the next Saturday’s finalists is known. Tipperary captained by Jack Peters will face Cork led by Andrew Brennan. When these teams played in the first round they shared the points so a close match is guaranteed. In the plate final Limerick skippered by Aidan Boyle take on Patrick Ryan’s Waterford. Thanks to Joe Cahill who refereed the third round matches.
U-12 Hurling
The u-12 hurlers are away to Borris-Ileigh in the opening round of the championship on this Friday evening at 7.00 p.m. .
U-14 Football
The u-14 football team lost out to Ballina in the semi-final on a 4-2 to 1-2 scoreline. Team: Patrick Ryan, Andrew Brennan, Jamie Heffernan, Jack Banaghan, Tomás Hogan, Jack Peters (1-0) James Dalton, P.J. Cleary, Alan Darcy, David Williams (0-1), Kieran Cahill, Raymond Kelly, Dean O Meara (0-1), Aidan Boyle and Robert Ward. Subs: Conor Cleary, Sean Cleary, Ian McSherry, Anthony Spillane, John Healy and Finnian Mannion.
Senior Football
Stephen Murphy, Kevin Quinlan, Darren Killackey, Diarmuid Cahill and Shane Quinlan were on the Thomas MacDonaghs combined senior football team which defeated J.K. Brackens in the first round of the county championship. Thomas Williams was also on the panel. In the next round they play Loughmore Casteleiney.
County Draw

Summer Camp
This is the final reminder for the return of the Summer Camp application forms. The camp commences on Monday July 9th in MacDonagh Park.
Meeting
