Senior Hurling
Kilruane MacDonaghs will play Borris-Ileigh in the second round of the county championship in Nenagh on Sunday, April 26th at 6.00pm. After their very impressive display against Drom, Borris-Ileigh will carry the favourites tag into the game. It will take a herculean effort by MacDonaghs to come out on top in this one. We had tremendous support against Burgess and we ask you to come out in force on the 26th. Cancel all other commitments, amend all other plans, defer all other engagements and get behind the boys in Nenagh. Your presence could make the difference.

Minor Hurling.
Well done to Darragh Peters and the Tipperary minor team on grinding out a victory against Waterford in the first round of the Munster championship. Hopefully, Cian Darcy will have returned to full fitness by the time the semi-final is down for decision.

Lotto
Thanks to all our subscribers for their continued loyal support. It is very much appreciated. The jackpot has grown steadily and now stands at a very attractive €3,700.Tickets cost €2 each and three are on offer for €5. Congratulations to well-known Éire Óg supporter, Fr. John Sheary who recently won €25 in the Lotto. Rumours that he invested it wisely in the Aintree Festival cannot be confirmed. The fact that Fr. John hosted a party in Rohan’s hostelry suggests that the story have some substance.

Sympathy
The club extends sympathy to the family of the late Mick Shelly, Beechwood.
