North Final
As part of the 1916 centenary celebrations, the 2016 North senior hurling final has been scheduled for Thomas MacDonagh Park. The club would like to thank the North Board and the clubs in the division for affording us the opportunity to host the most prestigious game of the year. The first North final in Thomas MacDonagh Park was played in 1975 when Moneygall overcame Silvermines. The inaugural North senior final, the 1901 decider, was played in Killurane, Cloughjordan on 20th April 1902. De Wets claimed the first of the eighteen senior hurling titles that have come to the parish with a victory over Roscrea. The club will also host the North Tipperary Convention in 2016.

Strictly Come Dancing
The juvenile and camogie clubs are joining forces in organising a Strictly Come Dancing fundraiser in the Abbey Court Hotel on Friday, 1st April. Proceeds will help defray the cost of hosting the visiting clubs during the Féile weekend in June. Thanks to all the dancers who turned up for the auditions. The choreographer and independent judges have now selected the competitors. Practice has commenced and parings will be announced in the next few weeks. Tickets will soon be on sale. A capacity attendance is anticipated in the Abbey Court, so early purchase of tickets is advised.
