Senior
MacDonaghs will play Toomevara in the third round of the North championship. No date has been finalised for this game but it will probably take place on the weekend of 28th June. This will be an absolutely massive test for the team. All support will have to be mobilised for this game and the memory of the galling one-point loss to Toomevara in 2013 should galvanise the players into a herucelean effort. After a subdued performance against Ballina the players are chomping at the bit to meet this challenge.

Handball
Lahorna Handball Club's "Night at the Dogs" was a resounding success with a great crowd from the parish and surrounding areas attending. For many it was their first night at the track and everyone had a very enjoyable evening. It was a most successful fundraiser with all Buster Race tickets sold beforehand and a raffle held on the night. Congratulations to Rose Cahill who had the winner of the Lahorna designated race. Many thanks to everyone for their support, all who bought tickets and those who provided sponsorship or raffle prizes.
