Munster Championship
Well done to Thomas Cleary who was a member of the Tipperary intermediate team that defeated Limerick. Commiserations to Niall O’Meara and the Tipperary senior team. They must now follow the scenic route.

Senior Hurling
Kilruane MacDonaghs play Borrisokane in Nenagh in the second round of the North championship on this Sunday at 3.30pm. Your support would be appreciated.

Junior Hurling
The junior hurlers will open their campaign against Moneygall on the weekend of June 21st.

Minor Hurling
The minor hurlers will be away Borris-Ileigh in the first round of the championship. This game is expected to take place on Thursday June 26th.

Under 14
Kilruane MacDonaghs had a comfortable 6-14 to 3-6 away victory against Burgess in the first round of the championship. Team: Páidí Williams, Eoin England, Jack Dunne, Louis Kennedy, Owen Usman, Mark O’Neill (Capt), Cian Spillane, Devlin Courtney, Kian O’Kelly, Mathew Moyles, Sean McAdams, Patrick Hayes, Matthew Spain, Jack Dwan and Conor Quinlan. Subs: Kieran Spain, Aaron Morgan, Dylan Moran, James Loughnane and Nathan Lynch.
Kilruane MacDonaghs play Newport in the second round of the championship in MacDonagh Park on this Wednesday June 4th at 6.30pm. The footballers are expected to play the county semi-final against the Mid champions on this Saturday.

Under 12
The ‘A’ team just lost out away to Roscrea on a 3-9 to 4-4 scoreline. Team: Rory Grace, Eoin O’Meara, Paul O’Neill, Páidí Williams, Colm Cleary, James Loughnane, Shane McAteer, Aaron Morgan, Nathan Lynch, David O’Sullivan and Cormac Doheny.
The ‘B’ team played with great commitment but found Roscrea too strong. Team: Oisín Williams, Pádraic Coonan, Fionnan Hurley, Darra Hannon, Eoin Carroll, Oisín Carroll, Kevin Naughnane, Paul Dwyer, Georgie O’leary and Katie O’Meara. On this Friday evening the ‘A’ team are at home to Kildangan at 6.30pm while the ‘B’ team take on Newport at the same time.

Under 8
The U8 hurlers participated in the blitz in Dr. Morris Park last Saturday. The following eighteen players were divided into two teams: Michael Cleary, Cathal England, Liam Foley, Cillian Franks, Diego Galero Kleboe, Cormac Gaynor, John Hannon, Cian Hayes, Cillian Healy, Michael Hennelly, Colm McAteer, Paul Molloy, Cian Moyles, Johnny Naughnane, Brian O’Meara, Donncha O’Meara, Jack Quinlisk and Ray Quinlivan.Thanks to the mentors Michael O’Meara, Damien Franks and John O’Meara & the parents who helped out on the day.

Schools Hurling
Kilruane N.S. lost out to Carrig N.S. in the North hurling final. Kilruane were just two points adrift at the interval but early second half goals for Carrig set them on the road to victory. Team: Jamie Kennedy, Louis Kennedy, James Loughnane, Kieran Spain, Dylan Moran (Capt), Eoin O’Meara, Matthew Moyles, Rory Grace, Aaron Morgan, Shane McAteer, Cormac Doheny and Conor Quinlan. Sub: Paul O’Neill. Best of luck to Carrig in the county final.

Examinations
The club extends best wishes to all who are doing examinations.

Lotto
The Club Lotto jackpot now stands at a very attractive €5,000. Tickets cost €2 and three are on offer for €5. You can purchase your ticket from our network of promoters or in any of the local shops. Next week’s draw takes place in Patsy’s Bar, Borrisokane. Thanks for your continued support. It is very much appreciated.

County Draw
The deadline for the County Draw has been extended to June 13th. Club members and supporters are urged to join immediately. The draw has a prize find of €500,000, including two cars every month. The subscription is €100 which can be paid in full, in ten monthly instalments or by direct debit. This draw is a major source of income for the club and the revenue earned helps defray the huge cost of preparing all our teams and it also funds ongoing maintenance and development of facilities. Thanks to all who have supported the draw over many years and we look forward to your continued participation.

Summer Camp
The annual Cúl Camp is scheduled for June 30th to July 4th in Thomas MacDonagh Park. The cost remains the same as last year: €55 first child; €45 second child; €40 third and subsequent children. This year the camp will have the usual 10.00am start in the morning but finish at the earlier time of 2.00pm. Application forms are being through the schools.

Sympathy
