Juvenile chairman Sean Ward complimented the players on their achievements, lauded the mentors of the various teams for their commitment and dedication and thanked the parents for their support and co-operation during the year. He singled out guest of honour, All-Ireland minor medallist, Jack Peters for special mention. He thanked all the parents who supplied the absolute feast of refreshments on offer and the volunteers who looked after the catering on the night. Juvenile vice-chairman Christy Morgan and senior club chairman George O’Leary also addressed the assembled gathering and echoed the sentiments expressed by Sean Ward. Jack Peters presented the medals to all the players.

Four players from the U10 panel and four players from the U-12 panel received awards in recognition of their outstanding attendance at training. Mark O’Neill and Conor Quinlan had full attendance with the U12s while Sam Darcy and Cian Spillane missed just one session. Rory Grace had a one hundred percent attendance record with the U10s while Fionnan Hurley, Eoin O’Meara and Paul O’Neill were the other recipients.
