Well done to Brian O Meara and Niall O Meara who lined out on the Shannon Rovers team which overcame Newport to win the North intermediate football final.
General Meeting
A General Meeting will be held in the clubroom on this Friday November 18th at 8.00 p.m. This is a meeting of crucial importance as selectors for junior A, junior C, U-21 and minor will be finalized and a number of other very important hurling related issues are up for discussion. All players, committee and members are requested to attend.
Club Calendar
The club calendar will be launched in the clubroom on Friday November 25th. All players and supporters are invited to the launch at 9.00 p.m. This calendar will make the ideal festive gift for those both home and away. Refreshments will be served.
Player Registration
Registration of all adult players for 2012 will take place in the clubroom on Friday November 25th at 8.00 p.m., prior the launch of the club calendar. All players will receive details before the registration night.
Handball
Congratulations to Jerome Cahill on winning the All-Ireland U -13 singles championship in Kilkenny last Sunday. Well done to all the other contestants who acquitted themselves well.
Lotto
The Club Lotto jackpot has been climbing steadily and now stands at a very attractive €4,700. This tidy sum would be more than useful as Christmas looms ever nearer. Tickets cost €2, with three on offer for €5. The draw takes place each Monday night.
