County Final
Best of luck to Thomas MacDonaghs who play Moyle Rovers in the county senior football final in Cashel on this Sunday at 2.30 p.m. Stephen Murphy, Brian O Meara, Niall O Meara, Freddie Williams Ray McLoughney and Niall Murphy are part of the squad which will be attempting to bring the title back to the North division for the first time since Kilruane MacDonaghs triumphed in 1975. Pat Murphy is a selector with the side.
Schools Football
Kilruane N.S. lost out to Ballina N.S. in the North final in Nenagh. Kilruane were trying for three in a row but had to give second best to a useful Ballina side. Best of luck to Ballina in the county final. Team: Jack Dunne, Shane O Meara, Daniel Clarke, Mark O Neill, Louis Kennedy, Ben Healy, Dylan Moran, Matthew Moyles, Alan Spain and Aaron Mo rgan. The club calendar which proved to be a huge success last year will be available again this year. Last year’s issue completely sold out and this year’s version is sure to be in big demand. The calendar which will make the ideal festive gift will be on sale in early December. A limited number of advertising spaces are available on the calendar.
