All-Ireland Final

Best of luck to Brian O Meara, John Casey and all involved with the Tipperary team in the All-Ireland final. Thanks to all parishioners who have flown the county colours. Club officials will be touring the parish on Thursday or Friday to inspect flags and bunting.

All-Ireland Tickets

Those fortunate enough to secure a ticket from the club must collect same from Michael Cahill by this Thursday evening. Any uncollected tickets will be immediately reallocated All-Ireland Draw

The county Board has organised a draw for the All-Ireland training fund. The top prize is a two week trip for two to Australia with the Irish team in October and the second prize is an All Star tour for two to San Francisco in November. There are a total of twelve prizes. Tickets costing €10 each are available from club officials.

Bon Voyage

The club sends its best wishes to Gavin McAvinchey, Cormac Williams and Shane Williams who have departed to Perth in Australia.

Dunloy Visit

The juvenile club hosted the Dunloy U-14 team last weekend. The Antrim team played Kilruane MacDonaghs in a very useful challenge game. Thanks to the families who acted as hosts.

Tony Forristal Tournament

Congratulations to Darragh Peters who was on the Tipperary U-14 hurling team which won the Tony Forristal tournament in Waterford. James Cleary was on the Tipperary B team which also participated in the tournament. Stephen Cleary lined out with the U-16 B team which took part in the Tipperary Supporters Club All-Ireland tournament.

U-16 Hurling

The U-16 hurlers lost to Roscrea in the first round playoff game. They now face Newport with a place in the semi-final at stake.

U-12 Hurling

The U-12 hurlers participate in the County End games in Semple Stadium on this Friday evening at 5 o clock. They welcome back Jerome Cahill and Tommy Dooley who were both unavailable for the North final.

U-8 & U-10

The U-8 and U-10 hurlers kept up their hectic schedule when they hosted Toomevara in two very entertaining games last week.

U-21 Hurling

The U-21 hurlers played Portroe in a challenge game last Tuesday in MacDonagh Park. They had a full squad apart from Brian O Meara and William Cleary. The selectors experimented with Niall O Meara in the centre back position. Team: David Reddan, Cian Williams, Eanna Hogan, Jack Peters, Alan Darcy, Niall O Meara, Pat Conway, Morgan Conway, Justin Cahill, James Williams, Thomas Cleary, David Williams, Kieran Cahill, Sean Hayes and Eoin Williams. Subs: Ian McSherry and Timmy Walsh. On this Tuesday August 30th they take on Borris-in-Ossory/Kilcotton in MacDonagh Park at 7 o clock.

County Draw
