U-21 Hurling
The U-21 hurlers play Lorrha in the semi-final in Borrisokane this weekend. Check fixtures for
confirmation.
Junior Hurling
The long awaited quarter-final against the south champions is expected to take place on the weekend
of October 23rd.
U-8 Hurling
The U-8 hurlers brought their season to a fitting finale when they won the Nenagh Eire Og
tournament. In the semi-final they had a point to spare against Silvermines and overcame the host team
in the final. Thanks to Nenagh for the invitation and their hospitality on the day.
U-21 Nominations
Seamus Hennesy and Brian O Meara are among five nominees for the Breaking Through Player of
Year award. Brendan Maher of Borris-Ileigh is also nominated for the Bord Gais sponsored award.
Schools Football
Klruane N.S. defeated Ballina N.S. on a 5-5 to 3-2 scoreline in the second round of the championship.
