Senior Hurling
After last Sunday’s defeat to Burgess in the quarter-final the senior hurlers must now regroup for the O
Riain Cup.

Junior Hurling
The junior hurlers had a good win against Roscrea in Ballingarry in the first round of the
championship. A brace of second half goals by Denis Cahill helped to seal victory. Team: Brian
Gaynor, Freddie Williams, Martin Walsh, Shane Williams, Eoin Hogan, Colm Williams, Cormac
Williams, Ruan Casey, James Keogh, James Williams, Jonathan Cahill, Edmond Morkan, Pat
Conway, Denis Cahill and Declan Barrett. On next Sunday evening they play Ballina in Nenagh at six
o clock.

U-12 Hurling
The U-12 hurlers had an away victory against Toomevara on 5-4 to 1-2 scoreline. Team: Mark O
Neill, Martin Grace, Kevin Shinners, Jack Dunne, Arran Conroy, Craig Morgan, Tommy Dooley,
Luke Dervan, Jerome Cahill, Conor Lillis, Rory McCarthy (3-1, Sean Quinlan, Oisin O Meara,
Cian Darcy (2-3) and Devlin Courtney. Subs: Eoghan Mulcahy, Ben Healy, Sean McAdams, Danny
Maguire, Jake O Kelly, Alan Spain and Seamus O Meara.

Parish League
The finals of the parish league took place last Saturday in MacDonagh Park. A goal by Roisin Cahill
with the last puck of the game gave Kyle a one point victory against De Wets in a thrilling final. .
Ballycapple took the honours in the plate final against a very spirited Kyle outfit. Thanks to all the
players, mentors, parents and caretaker Pat Williams who helped ensure that the league was such a
resounding success.

U-14 Hurling
The U-14 hurlers lost out at home to a very useful Nenagh side on a 1-12 to 0-8 scoreline. Team:
Abhain Coleman, Ciaran Spillane, Kieran Brereton, Paul Guidera, Caolainn Conroy, Darragh Peters,
Willie Ryan, Conor Doheny, Jack Farrell, James Cleary, Cormac Boyle, Rory McCarthy, Keelan Troy,
Cian Darcy and Niall Shinners. Subs: Jerome Cahill, Brendan McAdams and Declan Elderfield. In the
next round they face Toomevara.
