Senior Hurling

After last Sunday’s loss to Kildangan the senior hurlers face a crucial game against Eire Og on this Friday evening. Check fixtures.

Junior C Hurling

The junior C hurlers play Burgess in the league semi-final on this Sunday in Portroe at 12 o clock.

Cumann na mBunscoil

Kilruane N.S. U-11 hurling team qualified for the county final when they overcame Barnane N.S. and Moyglass N.S. in the semi-final blitz in the Ragg. Team: Mark O Neill, Jake Morris, Shane O Meara, Craig Morgan, Tommy Dooley, Conor Lillis and Ben Healy. Subs: Christopher Moyles, Grady Jones, Oisin O Meara, Alan Spain, Seamus O Meara sand Jake O Kelly. On this Thursday they play Clerihan N.S. in the decider in Semple Stadium at 1.50 p.m.

The Ardcroney N.S. U-13 camogie team has also qualified for the county final with a victory against Drom N.S. . Team: Becky Hill. Emma Cleary, Sile Spain, Nicole Spillane, Roisin Cahill, Gillian McSherry, Laura Doheny, Niamh Costello, Ciara Grace, Grainne Molloy, Orla Dillon, Caroline Hill, Katie Gould, Amy Hill and Clodagh Healy. They take on Loughmore N.S. in the final in Semple Stadium on this Thursday at 3.30 p.m. The Ardcroney U-13 hurling team was just edged out by Ballinree N.S. in the North semi-final.

In the North U-13 hurling final a late Templederry goal deprived Kilruane N.S. of the title on a 3-5 to 2-7 scoreline. Team: Mark O Neill, Jake Morris, Sean Quinlan, Lianne O Kelly, Darragh Peters, Arran Conroy, James Cleary, Craig Hilmi, Declan Elderfield, Tommy Dooley, Craig Morgan and Conor Lillis. Sub: Grace O Brien.

U-14 Hurling

The U-14 hurlers began their campaign with a home victory against Ballina on a 4-11 to 1-6 scoreline. Team: Niall Shinners, Paul Guidera, Jack Farrell, Ciaran Spillane, Willie Ryan, Darragh Peters, Conor Doheny. Abhain Coleman (0-2), Caolainn Conroy, Cormac Boyle, Kieran Brereton (1-0), James Cleary (0-3), Keelan Troy, Cian Darcy (2-6) and Rory McCarthy (1-0). Subs: Brendan McAdams, Kevin Shinners and Declan Elderfield.

U-12 Hurling

The U-12 hurlers had mixed fortunes in recent games. They had a home victory against Nenagh Eire Og but lost away to Moneygall. The next game is away to Toomevara.

Parish League

On last Saturday Kyle booked their place in the final when they got the better of Rapla. A last gasp goal for De Wets against Ballycapple earned them a final spot. The final and plate final take place on Saturday June 12th. On this Saturday the U-10 hurlers make their annual trip to the Naas tournament.
